3. Update the The Distributors Websites

Now that the Supplier Catalogue page has been created on the Mybrandz website, we need to add the link and a thumbnail to the Distributors websites.

Create the thumbnail #

1. Go to WEBSITES – Distributors and Brandz/WEBSITE_Brandz/Supplier catalogues & open Supplier catalogues template.psd
2. Update the thumbnail with the front cover of the Supplier Catalogue & save it as a jpg
3. Using Filezilla connect to the Head Office website via FTP. The login details are in the current Master Passwords file in dropbox.
4. Navigate to /opt/bitnami/wordpress/members-pdfs/supplier-catalogue & upload the image

Adding link to websites #

The Supplier Catalogue grid on the Distributors websites is created using the HTML Blob widget and each website needs to be updated. Go to the National Wholesalers List to see which websites we manage. All login details are in the current Master Passwords > Final-Live Distributors URL’s spreadsheet

1. Log in to the website
2. Click on Pages and find the Product Catalogue row and click Create Preview
3. Click on the HTML Blob in the content section
4. The catalogues are listed alphabetically so copy the code below and paste it in the correct order.
